About the job & position
We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Engineer for our team. The position will be based in Chennai, India (Hybrid working).
Primary responsibilities
Qualify new leads / prospects, assess their sales potential and route them to the appropriate sales channel accordingly.
To manage the day-to-day business of ‘C’ and ‘D’ accounts. Give technical guidance, demonstrate products online and close the opportunities and customer requests.
Acquiring new customers & developing new sales opportunities by researching , identifying potential accounts..
Preparing detailed proposals using CRM / Web shop
Account & Sales process management, i.e. leads, opportunities, pipeline, forecasting & closing.
Providing feedback to the company in the form of reports and forecasts
Professional qualifications
Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science and engineering
Have 3 to 5 years of documented experience in inside sales
Personal skills
Proven track record of inside sales performance in related industry
Technical background & experience in selling technical products. Previous experience with load cell, , torque sensors, Microphones, Vibration sensor & related DAQ to customers will be an added advantage.
Prospecting & Closing skills.
People skills for building relations
Proficiency in English & Hindi is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, well organized and self-motivated
Positive attitude towards challenges with problem-solving skills & collaborative spirit.
Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft® Office and CRM systems (SAP and Salesforce
