DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Investor Claims Document Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and preparing complete, submission-ready investor claim packages while ensuring compliance with investor, insurer, and client-specific requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of default servicing, investor claim documentation standards, filing timelines, and quality control processes.

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


·       Reviewing claim files for completeness and accuracy

·       Validating required documentation and filing requirements

·       Tracking and following up on outstanding or missing documents

·       Monitoring claim due dates and filing deadlines

·       Organizing and preparing claim packages for processing

·       Performing quality reviews before files move forward

·       Reducing downstream exceptions, rework, and filing delays

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience:

·      2 to 3+ years’ experience in Default Servicing Claims.

·      Familiarity with FHA, VA, USDA and GSE investor claim requirements is preferred.

·      Experience reviewing mortgage servicing documents, foreclosure documentation, bankruptcy documentation, title-related documents, and collateral files.

·      The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail and is comfortable working with large document packages.
