Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you are a key member of Motorola Solutions’ IT Global Sales team building next generation sales quoting experiences on our global CPQ platforms. You will help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. You will work with a talented IT team to implement requirements and provide development solutions for our corporate-wide Quoting Platform. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.

Responsibilities:

  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience

  • Perform root cause analysis for deployment issues

  • Investigate and resolve technical issues

  • Develop scripts to automate visualization

  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

  • Building, implementing and governing best practices for release lifecycle including version controls, branching and code merge

  • Experience in configuring and creating CI/CD pipelines from scratch

  • Good hands-on understanding of tools and best practices for CI/CD using Jenkins, Bitbucket

  • Experience in enabling JIRA integration with GIT

  • Closely work with Scrum master to define the process

  • Verify code consistency using available tools

  • Enable automated testing in the pipeline

  • Experience with performance monitoring of cloud SaaS application 

  • Being able to automate processes using RPA platforms

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

  • Strong experience in scripting GIT workflows

  • Expert in using GIT, Jenkins, BitBucket

  • Experience with using code verification tools like SonarQube

  • In-depth knowledge of Git workflow

  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadNinja

  • Experience in creating automation bots using RPA platforms such as UIPath

  • Experience with Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace

  • 2-3 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer


Basic Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional work experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business preferred
