Manage daily accounting transactions, bookkeeping, ledgers, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, GST and TDS compliance, financial closing support, MIS reporting, audit assistance, and maintenance of accurate financial records using Tally Prime and Excel.
We are looking for a Junior Accountant with 3–4 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting activities for a real estate company. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally, GST, TDS, reconciliations, bookkeeping, and maintaining accurate financial records. Prior experience in the real estate or construction industry will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain books of accounts.
- Record receipts, payments, purchases, sales, expenses, and journal entries in Tally.
- Maintain and reconcile ledgers and bank accounts.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Assist in GST calculation, reconciliation, and return filing.
- Handle TDS-related accounting and compliance activities.
- Prepare trial balance and assist in monthly financial closing.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
- Prepare MIS and other reports as required by management.
- Assist with audits and provide required financial documents.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience in bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Real estate / construction industry experience is preferred.
