Role: L2.5/L3 Application Maintenance & Support Engineer (Investment Management Domain) Responsibilities: Provide advanced application support: analyze, debug, and resolve issues at code level across the tech stack. Manage incident response and resolution within SLAs, including 24x7 on-call rotation (nights/weekends). Collaborate with cross-functional teams for release management, change coordination, and environment readiness. Troubleshoot issues and drive root cause analysis across applications and data workflows. Ensure production environments are secure, stable, and aligned with business requirements. Participate in disaster recovery and environment setup activities. Required Skills & Experience: Strong domain expertise in Investment Management/Capital Markets (must-have, top priority). Experience working with peripheral systems integrated with Aladdin or similar IM platforms (Aladdin experience not mandatory). 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in L2.5/L3 production support. Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and exposure to API management for system-to-system data flows. Hands-on experience with scripting (Python/PLSQL) and ReactJS. Exposure to one or more: Restful APIs, HTML, CSS, Java Microservices. Familiarity with SDLC processes, Git/Bitbucket, and test automation. Experience with incident/problem lifecycle management and ticketing tools (ServiceNow/JIRA). Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; able to work independently and within teams. Optional / Nice to Have: Knowledge of Linux/Windows OS, batch monitoring tools (Autosys, Ctrl-M), and databases (MS SQL, Snowflake). Experience with visualization/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau). Practical exposure to web development, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes. Basic understanding of statistical theory, financial instruments, and markets.
