YOUR ROLE
As a Lead ITV Engineer – Body Functions (BF) / Body Control Module (BCM), you will lead the testing and validation of vehicle body domain features, ensuring high-quality performance, safety, and reliability across BF and BCM systems.
You will define test strategies, manage test environments, and guide a team of validation engineers to deliver robust and compliant body electronics software.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute test plans, methodologies, and validation strategies for Body Functions and BCM features, including lighting, locking, wipers, windows, and comfort systems.
Set up and manage test environments, including ECUs, CAN/LIN networks, software flashing, configuration, and diagnostic tools.
Drive defect identification, tracking, analysis, and closure throughout the software testing lifecycle, collaborating closely with development teams.
Lead validation of communication protocols (CAN, LIN), diagnostics (UDS), DTC behavior, and system interoperability for BCM and associated modules.
Provide technical direction, mentoring, and resource planning for the ITV/validation engineering team to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
Strong experience validating Body Control Modules and Body Function features in automotive systems.
Hands-on expertise with CAN/LIN communication, diagnostics (UDS), ECU flashing, and test tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, or Vehicle Spy.
Solid understanding of automotive electrical architectures, fault mechanisms, and validation processes.
Experience leading teams, managing test deliverables, and driving quality improvements.
