Solution Architect (Cloud, Blockchain, IoT, and Agile Design Experts)

Synechron is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of innovative, scalable, and secure technology solutions across diverse platforms. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand complex business requirements and translating them into effective technical architectures. The Solution Architect will influence technical strategy, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure best practices to support the organization’s digital transformation objectives, delivering value through robust and sustainable solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of multiple technology platforms including mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain.
• Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with architecture design tools and modeling languages (e.g., UML, ArchiMate).
• Experience evaluating, selecting, and integrating emerging technologies into enterprise solutions.
• Ability to develop detailed technical specifications, design documentation, and standards.
• Knowledge of code reviews, system debugging, and troubleshooting techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and design comprehensive technology solutions.
• Develop detailed technical architectures, standards, and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct technology assessments, feasibility studies, and proofs of concept for new initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership during solution implementation, ensuring design consistency and adherence to best practices.
• Lead and participate in code and architecture reviews to support system quality and maintainability.
• Stay current with technological advances and industry trends, recommending strategic adoption to improve solutions.
• Offer technical support and mentorship to development teams, aiding complex problem resolution.
• Ensure that solutions meet performance, security, compliance, and scalability requirements.

Programming Languages:

• Essential: Knowledge of multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

Databases & Data Management:

• Experience designing and supporting databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL systems, ensuring data integrity and performance.

Cloud Technologies:

• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms—especially Microsoft Azure and/or AWS—and their design patterns, deployment, and security features.

Frameworks & Libraries:

• Familiarity with microservices frameworks, API management tools, and integration platforms.

Development Tools & Methodologies:

• Proficiency with architecture modeling tools, version control systems, and project management methodologies.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps workflows.

Security & Compliance Protocols:

• Awareness of cybersecurity best practices, threat modeling, and security standards relevant to cloud and enterprise systems.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development, enterprise architecture, or solution design.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing solutions involving multiple platforms such as mobile, cloud, IoT, or blockchain.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions, review code, and provide guidance to development teams.
• Demonstrated success working within cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Industry experience in finance, healthcare, or enterprise sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Engage with stakeholders to understand technical and business challenges.
• Lead architecture design sessions, creating models, diagrams, and documentation.
• Develop, review, and validate technical specifications and standards.
• Provide guidance during the development, deployment, and maintenance of solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies for potential reuse or value addition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during implementation.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and quality assessments regularly.
• Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate relevant innovations into solutions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, cloud certifications) are a plus.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale solution design and implementation.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex systems and requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams and technical discussions.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and emerging technologies.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on scalable, sustainable, and innovative solutions.
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.
