Job Description

1. Key Responsibilities

2. 1) Architecture & Strategy

  • Define end‑to‑end reference architectures for Gen AI solutions (e.g., RAG, fine‑tuning, prompt orchestration, evaluation), low‑code apps/flows, and microservices on AWS & Azure.
  • Establish architectural guardrails for data privacy, model usage, multicloud interoperability, and cost efficiency.
  • Own technology roadmaps: AI/ML platform evolution, Power Platform environment strategy, integration patterns, event-driven and serverless designs.

3. 2) Generative AI & ML

  • Select and integrate foundation models (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock models, open‑source LLMs) based on task fit, safety, latency, and cost.
  • Design secure RAG pipelines (vector stores, embeddings, retrieval) with enterprise data governance.
  • Lead Prompt Engineering and LLMOps/MLOps:
  • Implement AI safety & responsible AI controls:
  • Collaborate on AI productization: APIs, SDKs, batch/stream inference, caching, throttling, and resiliency patterns.

4. 3) Low‑Code Platform Architecture (Power Platform)

  • Define environment strategy (Dev/Test/Prod), ALM (solutions, pipelines), and DLP policies for Power Platform.
  • Architect Power Automate flows, Power Apps (canvas/model‑driven), Power Pages, Dataverse schema, and custom connectors.
  • Integrate with line‑of‑business systems (Dynamics 365, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow), modern APIs, and event sources.
  • Establish CoE (Center of Excellence) governance: templates, controls, monitoring, auditing, and citizen developer enablement.

5. 4) Cloud Architecture (AWS & Microsoft Azure)

  • Design microservices and serverless architectures: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/S3/Step Functions; Azure Functions, API Management, Cosmos DB/Storage/Logic Apps.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
