Job Title: Learn Mobile Platform Lead

Job Location: Chennai, India

Department: Learning Solutions

Reporting To: Trimble Learn Engagement & Digital Experience Manager (US)

About Our Global Learning Solutions Team

The Trimble Learning Solutions organization is responsible for expanding, optimizing, and enabling customer, partner, student, and employee learning experiences across the Trimble Learn platform. This includes managing platform deployments, integrations, configuration, onboarding, and global support, as well as developing best practices and procedures for the training function across Trimble.

The Learn Mobile Platform Lead reports directly to the Trimble Learn Support Manager and collaborates closely with the Learn Platform Architect, Learn Content Manager, Learn Engagement & Digital Experience Lead, and local Learn Support Analysts.

Position Overview

The Trimble Learn mobile application (powered by Docebo) is a critical component of our strategy to deliver learning in the flow of work—on the go, in the field, and offline.

As the Learn Mobile Platform Lead, you will serve as the dedicated specialist and operational owner for Trimble’s branded Docebo mobile experience. Rather than building custom mobile software from scratch, you will lead the strategic configuration, app release lifecycles, mobile user experience optimization, testing, and continuous improvement of our branded mobile app across global business sectors. You will act as the vital bridge between mobile platform architecture, IT/Security, content owners, and end-user accessibility.

Essential Job Responsibilities1. Mobile Platform Configuration & Administration
  • Configure Docebo mobile-specific settings, custom pages, menus, branding, and catalog visibility.

  • Maintain and document mobile setup, login behaviors, deep links, and mobile redirect paths.

  • Ensure configuration aligns with Trimble’s broader platform architecture while optimizing for small-screen and offline user journeys.

2. App Publishing & Release Coordination
  • Oversee the end-to-end mobile release lifecycle, including managing branding assets, generating app builds, and coordinating deployments via public App Stores (Apple/Google Play) and internal MDM (Mobile Device Management) systems.

  • Execute pre-release testing, regression checks, and post-update production validations to maintain app stability.

  • Track version updates, manage release notes, and keep the branded app aligned with supported Docebo mobile updates.

3. Mobile Learner Experience & UX Optimization
  • Evaluate mobile learner journeys to proactively identify and resolve friction points.

  • Partner with the Trimble Learn Engagement & Digital Experience Manager to align mobile navigation, push notifications, and in-app messaging with desktop experience standards.

  • Support adoption workflows, deep-linking campaigns, and mobile discovery paths to drive learner engagement.

4. Content Standards & Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Partner with the Content Manager to establish mobile-readiness content standards and testing guidelines.

  • Audit and monitor mobile content behavior, including SCORM compatibility, video rendering, offline player capabilities, and assessment execution.

  • Assist content creators in identifying and resolving mobile-specific playback or layout issues.

5. Technical, Security & Vendor Coordination
  • Collaborate closely with the Learn Support team to resolve or escalate issues through Docebo support, Trimble IT, Cybersecurity, Identity (SSO/Firebase), and legal compliance teams.

  • Manage technical integrations, deep links, push notifications, and domain settings within the mobile ecosystem.

  • Develop clear triage, escalation, and troubleshooting pathways for mobile-specific issues before they impact global support channels.

6. Performance Analytics & Insights
  • Build and manage mobile reporting dashboards tracking app adoption, active sessions, course completions, and offline usage trends.

  • Translate mobile analytics into actionable recommendations to drive platform strategy and demonstrate mobile business impact.

Success Measures
  • Release Health & Stability: Smooth execution of app store/MDM updates with minimal post-release technical issues or downtime.

  • Deployment & Adoption: Measurable growth in active mobile app users and course completions across targeted global sectors.

  • Quality & User Satisfaction: Reduced mobile-related support tickets through thorough release QA and clear end-user documentation.

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Seamless operational alignment with Content, Experience, Support, and Architecture team leads.

Skills & Experience You Should BringRequired Experience & Education
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Educational Technology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise LMS administration (e.g., Docebo, Cornerstone, Absorb), digital learning operations, or mobile learning platform management.

  • Mobile Ecosystem Familiarity: Proven experience with app publishing concepts, app store distribution workflows (Apple App Store / Google Play), or Mobile Device Management (MDM) environments.

  • Technical QA & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical mindset with experience in regression testing, tracking technical bugs, and reviewing mobile analytics.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of bridging the gap between technical teams (IT/Security/Vendors) and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Docebo Platform Expertise: Direct experience configuring and supporting Docebo and the Docebo Branded Mobile App (publisher tool).

  • Mobile Integrations Exposure: Familiarity with Mobile SSO, Firebase, push notification tools, or mobile deep-linking.

  • Global Support Context: Experience supporting global learner audiences across multiple time zones and regional security requirements.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
