This role involves leading both operational/science aspects of domain search as well as GenAI experiences. The ideal candidate will have the rare blend of deep technical knowledge and a discernment for business, empowering them to make key decisions quickly and autonomously. What you'll get to do...
We are seeking a skilled scientist leader to join our growing domain search team. In this role, you will lead, drive, and build the foundational ML-based services that power GoDaddy’s search/ML platform. Your work will be critical to ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability for millions of customers worldwide.
- Leading our machine-learning effort and continuously evolving the system for better user experience.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization for better end-to-end user experience.
- Act as primary subject matter authority on machine learning methodologies, LLM trends, and deep learning technology.
- Lead and coordinate projects, establishing business requirements, and ensuring appropriate testing levels.
- Provide tools and training to both direct and indirect employees for success. Leading and guiding the team through one-on-one sessions, team meetings, quality assurance reviews, hiring, terminations, corrective actions, and performance evaluations.
Your experience should include...
- Overall 8+ years of experience with 2+ years of people leading experience on machine learning scientists.
- Experience with machine learning, statistics, and NLP
- Experience with Deep Learning and large data sets
- Experience with a machine learning platform such as pytorch.
- Experience with a programming language of your choice: Python, Java, etc.
- Familiarity with large-scale data analytics in Spark.
- Ph.D. in related field preferred.
