'# Electrical Engineer minimum Bachelor of Engineering / Master of Engineering level # Extensive knowledge of Power Systems studies and modelling of electrical network
# Understanding and design of Electrical Power Systems and Converter Operation
# Preferably knowledge on IEC/IEEE standards
# Preferably Understanding application of Power Electronics in HV/EHV system like HVDC and FACTS # Proven skills in using computers as a calculation tool.
# Preferably experience of power system simulation tools such as EMTDC /PSCAD and calculations in Matlab / Mathcad
# Strong interpersonal communication skill, Fluent English
# Extensive knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose, such as Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnector, Surge Arrester etc.
# Knowledge in selection, sizing and integration of above equipment based on customer functional specification. Your responsibilities:
• To successfully take on this position, you need to be thorough and structured with a high technical interest and strive for good solutions within the set time limits. You will be involved in projects, tenders, base and R&D work.
• To grow with each task, enabling yourself to develop and take more and more responsibility. HVDC is a complex product, there is always more to learn.
• Study and verify the Converter design, Reactive Power Compensation, RAM and transient current through simulations in PSCAD/EMTDC. Including specifying fault scenarios to be investigated for the project and simulate that will be input for equipment specifications.
• Handle the interface with other interfacing departments. Ensuring you understand their needs, and they yours, and to work for a good corporation for best end results together.
