About the Role
If you bring strong expertise in General Ledger (GL) operations, accounting standards, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills, you could be the ideal candidate to help us navigate the complexities of financial operations across the MEASA region.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly financial reporting for MEASA stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for entities across the India, UAE & KSA within MEASA region.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring completeness and compliance with IND GAAP and internal policies.
- Manage audit-related activities, including coordination with internal and external auditors for statutory, tax, and transfer pricing audits.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet schedules, proactively resolving discrepancies across all MEASA countries (India, UAE & KSA).
- Review and approve journal entries and system postings to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Oversee preparation and review of financial documents for banking and regulatory submissions, including wire instructions, payment authorizations, and compliance filings.
- Ensure compliance with India & ME income tax and Sales tax requirements, including GST/VAT tax, withholding tax, and other applicable filings.
- Manage banking operations such as ACH payments, payroll uploads, and treasury-related activities for MEASA countries (India, UAE & KSA).
- Reconcile revenue data from multiple systems to GL accounts monthly and support audit-related revenue reconciliations.
- Analyse P&L accounts, ensuring proper classification of expenses and capital items.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure alignment with GL and depreciation schedules.
- Support management with financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of financial insights and compliance.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and performance.

- Strong understanding of IND GAAP, IFRS & thorough understanding of taxation laws, with a willingness to continually learn to stay updated with evolving standards
Required Competencies
- CA or CA-Inter with 4–5 years of accounting experience including at least 1 years in a team lead or managerial role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing audits and working with external auditors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, especially Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English essential.
