Our People Products team goal is to amplify People’s Team ambition by developing AI-powered conversational self-service products to deliver personalized employee experiences and insights in the flow of work through cloud based scalable, integrated, compliant products to unleash productivity and boost engagement of Toasters and possibly also ship to Toast customers.

Toast’s People Products team is looking for a Solutions Architect specialized in Workday Security to lead the technical reimplementation of Workday’s foundational security  and establishment of a security governance model. This role will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and scalable security model. As a Solutions Architect, Workday Security you will interact directly with senior leaders and cross-functional partners across Toast to capture requirements while designing globally scalable solutions with People Technology.  This position requires a great understanding of HR data processes, security, and compliance standards, globally.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Develop a robust security and governance model in partnership with process owners to establish and enforce data security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive HR data
  • Drive Reporting as as Self Service Initiative for managers, business partners and leaders
  • Collaborates with business leaders to design and build reports to assist in data analysis, trends, and strategic planning
  • Execute hands-on configuration of all types of Workday security 
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide guidance, coaching and subject matter expertise on security, data and reporting capabilities and limitations
  • Develop a security roadmap to enable Toast’s shared services support model. 
  • Continuously improve and manage a scalable security architecture to protect sensitive employee information enable efficient administration and transaction processing
  • Utilize your knowledge and experience in operationalizing and governing a large enterprise Workday implementation
  • Advocate for Workday opportunities and best practices across an evolving landscape of HR processes and systems
  • Drive automation and scalability across Workday modules to minimize manual work and ensure data integrity
  • Align data governance across Workday and other downstream platforms
  • Apply critical thinking and experience to invent and evolve the way employees interact with Workday via new tools and technologies
  • Acts as the subject matter Expert in Workday HCM Reporting 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements) 

  • 5+ years experience configuring, designing and launching HCM products with Workday
  • 3+ years experience designing and managing Workday security architecture and administration
  • 2+ years of advanced reporting experience with Workday
  • At least one large end-to-end implementation of Workday with a demonstrated deep knowledge of configuration and architecture
  • Demonstrated leadership in overall production support, tenant management, change control and release management governance roles
  • Experience designing and implementing IT general control compliance for Workday
  • Internal / external audit liaison experience
  • Strong understanding of Workday's business processes and data model
  • Cross-module expertise to design, configure, and implement Workday solutions
  • Ability to develop complex reports and queries
  • Self-directed, ambitious and inquisitive analyst 
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment
  • Minimum educational qualifications : Any UG
  • Work Model: Hybrid (2 days a week in office)
