We are seeking a highly motivated and execution-driven Production Manager to lead the transfer of precision resistor production lines from Israel to our Chennai facility.

This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for ensuring full operational readiness prior to and during the production transfer process. The selected candidate will coordinate cross-functional activities and ensure that infrastructure, equipment, processes, quality systems, and workforce readiness are aligned for successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure facility and infrastructure readiness (layout, utilities, environmental controls)
  • Oversee installation, qualification, and validation of equipment and tooling
  • Coordinate jig and fixture manufacturing and duplication
  • Implement and validate BOMs and routings within ERP systems (QAD preferred)
  • Ensure material flow, warehouse processes, and traceability readiness
  • Align engineering documentation, ECR/ECO processes, and technical standards
  • Support quality system alignment, including inspection plans and traceability requirements
  • Coordinate training, certification, and workforce readiness
  • Act as the primary liaison between Israel and India teams
  • Conduct structured progress reviews and proactively escalate risks
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or project management
  • Proven experience in production line transfer, industrialization, or manufacturing setup
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and operational flow
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience with Transfer Molding processes
  • Background in precision manufacturing or electronics production
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or regulated manufacturing environments
