As a Manager, Statistical Programming at ICON, you will lead a team of statistical programmers in the development and validation of statistical analysis and reporting solutions for clinical trials.
What You Will Do:
You will manage day-to-day statistical programming activities, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the programming activities related to clinical trial data, including the creation of statistical analysis plans, datasets, and tables, listings, and figures (TLFs).
- Managing and mentoring a team of statistical programmers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Collaborating with biostatisticians and clinical teams to ensure alignment of programming activities with study objectives and timelines.
- Reviewing and validating programming outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Staying updated on industry best practices and advancements in statistical programming tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality.
Your Profile:
You will have solid statistical programming experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in statistical programming within clinical research, with a strong knowledge of programming languages such as SAS or R.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing programming teams and overseeing project deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex statistical concepts effectively.
- A commitment to quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within the statistical programming function.
