What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop, test, and support MuleSoft integrations and APIs using the Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio.
- Contribute to development activities across multiple stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Analyze existing program logic to determine the best method of accomplishing required changes or identifying causes of program malfunction.
- Perform maintenance and modification of programs currently in production to keep them responsive to user needs and to ensure efficient operation in the production environment.
- Support API development using REST, SOAP, and common integration patterns.
- Implement error handling and exception management in integration flows.
- Assist in designing and building scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions under guidance from senior team members.
- Prepare test data and thoroughly test code leveraging automated unit test frameworks when possible.
- Analyze production issues to isolate problems and support timely resolution.
- Document and maintain program specifications according to Grange standards.
- Support batch jobs and large payload processing in MuleSoft applications.
- Use scripting and automation to improve day to day development and support tasks.
- Collaborate with DevOps and support teams on deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Bring To The Company:
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Information Technology or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar degree.
- At least 3 to 6 years of prior experience preferred, including 2+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
- Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, CloudHub, and API-led integration concepts.
- Working knowledge of API design, REST, SOAP, and related integration patterns.
- Understanding of integration architecture concepts including scalability, security, fault tolerance, and high availability.
- Experience in middleware/API development in hybrid cloud environments or willingness to learn new technologies.
- Familiarity with microservices concepts preferred.
- Experience with API management tools and API versioning strategies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments for MuleSoft solutions.
- Hands-on experience with application and log monitoring tools (AppDynamics, ELK, or similar) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and development languages quickly and apply them effectively.
