Sutherland Global Services is seeking .NETDeveloper with experience in developing and testing software and maintain a software product or family of products/solution. Provide complex code modification, testing and debugging tasks. Provide high level analysis related to software design and development and solve problems. As a senior software engineer, the candidate should design and code complex units/modules/products that meet functional and business requirements on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities:

• Owns a major component of the product
• Design & build new applications using Framework 4.0 (/latest) / .NET Core.
• Enhance applications using C#.NET, Web Services / Web API, Entity Framework / ADO.NET.
• Develop On-premise / Cloud (using Azure) hosting applications.
• Enhance product search functionality using Elasticsearch or similar for improved performance and accuracy.
• Good knowledge in maintaining and querying unstructured data using No-SQL.
• Working under a dynamic agile based environment.
• Coordinate with multiple development teams.
• Participate in plan, develop, build, unit/integration test phases of software development
• Put forward calculated time estimates of work to be done on a project
• Participate in design, code reviews with other developers and test-case review with testers
• Perform unit/module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications
• Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections
• Follow-up and close issues entered into the defect-tracking system

To succeed in this position, you must:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Software Development
• Hands-on Experience in .NET Core, MVC, Asp.net, WebAPI, C#
• Web Application frameworks & Web Services
• Knowledge in Oracle/SQL Server/any other RDBMS is must.
• Hands on experience in transactional databases, write Stored Procedures and Functions in SQL Server
• Skills in WCF and Web API
• Hands on working with Azure Services, Large Language Models like GPT3.5-Turbo, GPT-4 etc

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in storage environments & Monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), Logging (ELK/EFK)
• Exposure to server environments and deploying MVC .Net applications using IIS servers.
• Certification in .NET Frameworkagile and scrum development cycles is favored
• Knowledge in SSRS/ Reporting Tools.
• Working with NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, Cassandra is an added advantage.
