What you'll do

         

As a Non-Functional Testing Lead, you’ll be contributing to the transformation of testing using quality processes, tools and methodologies, significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. You’ll make sure repeatable, constant and consistent quality is built into all phases of the idea to value life cycle at reduced cost or reduced time to market, to guarantee that any defects are identified as early as possible.

It’s a highly collaborative role, in which you’ll have the chance to work with colleagues at multiple levels, and with domain, platform and feature teams, to build in quality as an integral part of all activities.

Additionally, you’ll be:

  • Evolving more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions
  • Collaborating with Architecture, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Business teams to identify, assess, and mitigate performance and scalability risks
  • Making sure decisions are based on robust data, return on investment and value measures that demonstrate thoughtful and intelligent cost management
  • Driving the adoption of DevOps and Shift-Left testing practices, integrating NFT into CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates
  • Leading NFT practice improvements through standardisation, automation, reusable frameworks, accelerators, and strategic transformation initiatives
The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with 12-14 years of Non-Functional Testing hands on experience with expertise in Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Resilience, and Capacity Testing across enterprise applications and APIs. You’ll be an innovative thinker who can identify opportunities and design solutions, coupled with the ability to develop complex automation code.

You’ll have a good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience of working in an Agile team, with the ability to relate everyday work to the strategic vision of the feature. Banking/Payments domain experience will be preferred..

We’ll also look for you to have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE), LoadRunner Professional, JMeter, and GitLab CI/CD, including scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting
  • Ability to define and drive Non- Functional Testing strategy, test approaches, risk assessments, and quality assurance governance across multiple programmes
  • Proven experience in API, UI/Web, Batch, Volume, Stress, and Soak Testing, with a strong understanding of performance engineering best practices
  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled Quality Engineering, leveraging AI for test optimisation, analysis, productivity improvements, and innovation initiatives
  • Exposure to tools like Playwright, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or Grafana (Preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present technical insights, delivery status, and risk assessments to senior leadership
