Job Summary:
We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful onboarding of new clients/business units, as well as ensuring that existing customers have the necessary training to meet their job requirements. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience in freight forwarding/ Logistic based onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective onboarding processes
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements, goals, and desired outcomes.
- Conduct needs assessments to determine the scope and complexity of the onboarding process.
- Configure the ERP system according to client specifications, ensuring it aligns with their business processes and requirements.
- Coordinate with technical teams to set up data migration, integration, and customization as needed.
- Develop tailored onboarding plans and timelines, aligning with client expectations and project objectives.
- Conduct orientations and ensure that team have all necessary equipment, materials, and training to perform their job duties
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the system is ready for client use.
- Provide comprehensive training to clients on the functionalities, features, and usage of the ERP system.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions, webinars, or workshops for client teams to promote system understanding and proficiency.
- Create and maintain documents / Training materials compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including Clients/ Customer and other key personnel
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs to increase employee retention and job satisfaction
- Provide ongoing support to existing clients to ensure a positive onboarding experience
- Understanding client requirements and able to translate them into business document
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and addressing concerns.
- Proactively communicate project updates, milestones, and timelines to clients, managing expectations effectively
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges encountered during the onboarding process.
- Collaborate with technical teams and support resources to address client inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution for clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Business Administration, or a related field
- ERP (like SAP or Oracle or any other ERP) implementation and/or support experience
- 6+ years of experience in onboarding, training and development, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
