The Role

As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor application and infrastructure health using Dynatrace

  • Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

  • Ensure code quality and security using SonarQube

  • Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab

  • Automate deployment, scaling, and operational tasks

  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams

  • Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance

  • Maintain documentation, dashboards, and monitoring alerts

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace (APM, monitoring, alerting)

  • 1 - 2 Years as Operations Engineer

  • Strong knowledge of ELK Stack for logging and analysis

  • Experience with SonarQube for code quality and static analysis

  • Proficiency in Docker and containerization concepts

  • Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift orchestration

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab)

  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Experience with microservices architecture

  • Scripting skills (Shell, Python) for automation

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Banking / BFSi preferred

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
