The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of company-wide IT and communication systems. This role involves managing cell phone and desktop phone accounts, assisting with IT asset procurement, overseeing internet connectivity at company locations, and ensuring software licensing and device maintenance are efficiently managed. The Operations Project Manager will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless day-to-day operations across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
IT & Telecommunications Support:
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure efficient daily operations of company systems.
- Manage company cell phone account, including device upgrades, new employee phone orders, plan adjustments, billing management, and cost center assignments.
- Oversee desktop phone management, including procurement, setup, and ongoing administration.
- Assist in purchasing, provisioning, and maintaining software licenses as needed.
Hardware & Equipment Management:
- Assist with coordination of ordering and set up computers and other IT devices for new employees.
- Coordinate hardware upgrades for existing employees to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Maintain an organized inventory of IT equipment and devices across multiple locations.
Internet & Network Support:
- Oversee internet connections at company locations, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted service.
- Work with service providers to troubleshoot connectivity issues and evaluate provider options when needed.
Administrative & Process Management:
- Monitor and manage IT-related costs, ensuring proper billing and cost allocation.
- Maintain accurate records of devices, licenses, and service contracts.
- Assist with IT-related purchasing and vendor management to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to streamline IT and telecommunications functions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior experience in operations, IT support, or telecommunications management is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with IT asset management tools.
- Experience managing vendor relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
COMPENSATION:
- Full benefits package offered (PTO, 401K, vision, dental, life, and health insurance)
- Pay ranges based on experience (65K-70K starting)
