Job Title: Lead Software Engineer
Location: Chennai
Department: Digital Transformation Office
Reports To: Manager Business System Analysis
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support, enhancements, and continuous improvements for Oracle Commerce Cloud, ERP, and related integrations
- Act as a techno-functional lead with deep expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript, REST APIs, and eCommerce platforms
- Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Commerce Cloud solutions and detailed technical design specifications
- Lead the design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment of Oracle Commerce stores and configurations
- Participate in end-to-end implementation activities including setup, integration, and testing to support business requirements
- Lead and facilitate functional and technical workshops to gather and document requirements for new initiatives and enhancements
- Coordinate onshore and offshore teams, including task allocation, mentoring, and delivery oversight
- Manage and perform system testing for projects, releases, and platform upgrades
- Deliver application and process training for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Serve as a key liaison between business partners, developers, and integration teams
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience implementing Oracle Commerce Cloud and integrations, with strong focus on Order-to-Cash processes
- Minimum 5+ years of experience developing using Oracle Commerce Cloud OSF Framework, including Java and front-end technologies like KnockoutJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Javascript, and CSS.
- Strong full-stack development experience with system-to-system integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON Webservices.
- Experience designing and developing storefronts, catalogs, widgets, mappings, and eCommerce components
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite , iStore and/or Order to Cash processes is a plus
- Proven experience creating technical design documents and business process models
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and delivery best practices
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and lead technical teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative, matrixed environment
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working with onshore and offshore teams
- Willingness to travel as required
