The Oracle Financials Technical Manager oversees the technical development of finance modules in Oracle EBS, manages integrations, provides solutions, and supports users while ensuring system enhancements and updates.
Job Description SummaryThe Oracle Financials (EBS R12) Technical Manager will be the central point of contact for development progress (including technical, functional and training documentation) of all Finance issues, on-going projects’ related finance changes, and enhancements (specifically for: Project Accounting, Cost Management, Project Costing, GL, AR, AP, Payments, Tax, Fixed Asset, Cash Management and project manufacturing modules in the company's core ERP). Directly responsible for providing bug fixes to resolve open ERP’s Finance related issues (including FCCS) as well as proposing/implementing future solutions for finance operations.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Be the ERP technical leader for: Project Accounting, Cost Management, Project Costing, GL, AR, AP, Payments, Tax, Fixed Asset, Cash Management and project manufacturing modules in the company's core ERP
- Work with business functions to gather requirements to understand requirements and review the technical feasibility of business solutions
- Manage all technical development for enhancements (reports, customizations, extensions, integrations) and bug fixes for finance modules of Oracle e-business suite
- Manage all technical ERP finance integrations
- Manage the relevant ERP Master Data and their related management processes
- Consult ERP DT Leader on ERP “best practices” process implementation and drive end-to-end process implementation or improvements initiatives (design, test & deploy).
- Responsible for technical solution design, demos from both standard solution sets and customized solutions.
- Learn & Develop functional proficiency with the different modules of Oracle E-business Suite and other tools used with ERP
- Provide L1 and L2 end user support from root cause analysis through resolution with both onsite and offshore support resources
- Promote user adoption by facilitating user acceptance testing and training
- Responsible for proactive action regarding system updates, including researching known issues, testing key processes, and educating business SMEs/BPOs on existing or new technical ERP functionality
- Identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements to maximize the use of Oracle throughout the organization
- Participate in providing technical solutions for daily production issues or for any other maintenance activities which might also involve change management process
- Test and document code updates. Implement robust testing systems & process which include unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, capacity testing and quality reviews
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or Information Systems related fields (Master’s in science or business, preferred) or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in Oracle EBS Finance modules
- At least 1 Full Cycle Oracle R12 or R11 ERP technical implementation experience
- Significant IT experience in Expertise in Project Accounting, Cost Management, Project Costing, GL, AR, AP, Payments, Tax, Fixed Asset, Cash Management and project manufacturing modules of Oracle EBS
- Fluency in English is a must

- Proven experience in business analyses
- Knowledge of Cloud integration middleware products such as: Dell-Boomi, Webmethods, SFTP etc.
- Knowledge of the Security architecture (roles, privileges, hierarchy, etc.)
- Code version management tools
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills
- Understanding of IT Change Management practices and technical ERP Life Cycle Management
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
