The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Partner to oversee all HR operations and people related initiatives for our India entity. As the primary People & Culture contact in India, you will manage and execute HR processes that align with our global objectives, supporting our local leaders and fostering a positive workplace culture.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, organised professional who thrives on delivering a seamless employee experience and is excited to champion our culture and values in a region that is experiencing a lot of expansion.

Responsibilities:

HR Data:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS, HiBob.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programmes, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related queries.

Employee Onboarding:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.
  • Prepare necessary documentation, conduct onboarding sessions, and assist in the integration of new employees into our company culture.

Employee Relations:

  • Partner with managers and stakeholders to facilitate the consistent delivery of core HR processes, including employee development initiatives, rewards and recognition programmes.
  • Support and promote initiatives that enhance employee engagement, recognition, and retention, identifying and mitigating potential attrition risks. 
  • Act as an advisor to leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, coaching, and HR best practices.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, actively promoting and embedding our values in daily interactions and organisational practices.

General Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the People and Culture department, including preparing letters, administering background checks and collating payroll data.
  • Coordinate with the IT team to ensure that employees have necessary equipment and resources, especially for onboarding.
  • Oversee office management tasks, creating a welcoming, efficient, and supportive work environment.

Background/Experience:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Great knowledge of India employment legislation and experience with global compliance.
  • Proficient in Google Apps and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • HiBob and Greenhouse experience is beneficial but not required.
