The Role

The ideal candidate will provide functional support for PeopleSoft HRMS modules including Core HR, Workforce Administration, Payroll, Benefits, and Absence Management, while analyzing and resolving production incidents, service requests, and system defects. You will perform root cause analysis for functional issues across HR processes, support 24x7 operations including on-call rotation if required, and work closely with developers for enhancements, bug fixes, and retrofits. Responsibilities include supporting testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and ensuring the functional accuracy of delivered solutions, as well as assisting in migrations, upgrades, and patch implementation activities. Finally, you will prepare functional design documents (FDD), test cases, and user guides, and maintain a knowledge base, issue logs, and support documentation for this PeopleSoft HRMS Functional Consultant role.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HRMS functional support.

• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules: Core HR / Workforce Administration, Payroll (preferably North America or Global Payroll), Benefits Administration, and Absence Management.

• Understanding of end-to-end HR lifecycle (Hire-to-Retire).

• Basic understanding of PeopleSoft architecture (App Server, Web Server, Process Scheduler).

• Knowledge of SQL, queries, and reporting tools (nVision, BI Publisher) is an added advantage.

• Experience in production support.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Master’s degree and relevant certification(s).
