Manage plant-level accounting, inventory valuation and reconciliation, vendor reconciliations, invoice processing, expense tracking, month-end closing, MIS reporting, audits, and statutory compliance. Maintain accurate books in Tally ERP, coordinate with operations, procurement, and central finance, and improve accounting controls and processes.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and proactive Plant Accounts Executive to manage financial operations at the plant level. This role is critical in ensuring accurate accounting, strong control over inventory, and smooth financial coordination between plant operations and the central finance team. You will play a key role in maintaining financial discipline, improving processes, and supporting business decision-making through accurate data and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end plant accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Handle inventory accounting, including stock tracking, valuation, and reconciliation with physical inventory.
• Drive vendor reconciliation and ensure timely closure of discrepancies.
• Manage invoice generation, validation, and tracking for plant transactions.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP.
• Support monthly closing, MIS reporting, and audit requirements.
• Monitor and control plant-level expenses and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance teams for smooth financial workflows.
• Identify gaps and drive process improvements and controls in plant accounting.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory compliance.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in plant accounting / finance roles.
• Prior experience in the automobile industry or manufacturing setup is strongly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in inventory accounting and reconciliation.
• Good exposure to invoice management and vendor reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
