Job requirements
- Position: Principal Architect – E-Commerce Solutions
- Own end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of projects, blending technical leadership with functional oversight.
- Act as a techno-functional leader, managing delivery schedules, scope, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Lead cross-functional teams in a Hybrid Engineering model, ensuring smooth execution across design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Lead solution architecture for enterprise applications across Commerce, Catalog, and Content Management systems.
- Develop efficient, scalable components and algorithms in a multi-tenant, SaaS, microservices-based cloud environment.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, ensuring coding standards, maintainability, and performance.
- Good hands on with mentality to work and code even in Architect role.
- Assess, recommend, and document system/application process changes for the Commerce platform.
- Define, publish, and enforce design patterns, coding standards and best practices for high-quality software delivery.
- Perform POCs with technology evaluations (pros/cons) and recommendations before implementation.
- Experience with modern cloud architecture and paradigms. Must have atleast 2-4 year’s experience in AWS using event driven architecture, API Gateway, S3, etc.
- Should have experience with other tools/products used in ecommerce implementations such as Payment Gateways, Search engine such as Elastic Search, Algolia etc, Content Management systems such as Contentful etc.
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale e-commerce projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- ReactJS, NodeJs, Typescript, AWS, MACH Architecture, Commerce platforms like SAP Commerce (Hybris), Commertools
