Job Description

This high impact role ensures that it associates process with customer quality requirements, operating procedures, and other applicable regulations. You will improve processes and ensure process compliance and realise our results. Involve continuous improvement project to implement strategy framework scope on shop floor. You will report to Production & ROS Manager and follow a onsite working schedule in India Kancheepuram.

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitor and improve production process that provide the highest quality product at the lowest cost.
  • Review and improve production process, equipment's and workforce resources for all optimised level.
  • Identify process related issues, report out and take immediate and permanent corrective/ Preventive actions
  • Coordinate with cross function team and responsible for implement improvement ideas
  • To make sure all the process is following defined standard

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Typically, 3+ years working experience in an electrical/electronic or mechanical production, manufacturing engineering or quality field. Demonstrate knowledge of process principle, cross function understanding.
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Mechanical
  • Exhibits excellent written communication and analytical reading skills, ensuring collaboration and team member engagement.

Job related competencies:

Functional

  • Excellent process improvement skills, to be process improvements ideas to result in quality and delivery
  • Responsible for meeting process improvements goals concerning high quality, low-cost, on time delivery, safety and 5S.
  • Work with cross function team to solve process related issues and escalate.
  • Initiate continuous improvement programmes that lead to improvement in quality, cost, delivery, efficiency and safety
  • Report preparation and presentation for process improvements ideas and projects
  • Participate in tasks following applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO9001, ISO14000) and Rockwell Automation procedures

Computer Skills:

  • To perform this job, you have knowledge of Database software
  • Expertise in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with SAP system operation skills
