Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Product Engineer with deep domain expertise in Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and/or Asset-Liability Management (ALM) to support the design, development, implementation, and optimization of advanced treasury and risk technology platforms. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for FTP and/or ALM product components within the treasury and risk solution landscape.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Clients to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs.
- Lead or support the configuration, customization, and enhancement of ALM or FTP modules (e.g., behavioral modeling, liquidity risk analysis, interest rate simulation).
- Design and optimize calculation engines for transfer pricing, liquidity cost allocation, and balance sheet metrics.
- Participate in platform integration with upstream and downstream systems, ensuring accurate data mapping and financial consistency.
- Work closely with QA and business teams to validate functional accuracy and performance of implemented solutions.
- Support UAT, issue resolution, product documentation, and user training.
- Stay current on regulatory changes (e.g., Basel III/IV, IRRBB) and best practices in ALM and FTP.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in implementing or supporting FTP or ALM solutions in a banking or financial software environment.
- Hands-on experience with one or more ALM/FTP platforms such as:
- Moody’s RiskConfidence™
- QRM
- Oracle FTP
- Wolters Kluwer OneSumX
- Sopra Banking / Finastra
Strong understanding of interest rate risk, behavioral modeling, liquidity management, and profitability analysis.
Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and financial calculation logic.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
