As a team lead in our mine shaft system’s team, your main responsibility will be to manage the day to day actions for that team. Other duties may include product design, 3d modelling, and/or completion of detail drawings. You will work alongside a team of engineers, designers, and drafters in India and Canada dedicated to producing quality products for our customers. We have the tools, the people, and the software to provide you the confidence to develop solutions that our end users rely on.

• Organizes and supervises the work of assigned staff of engineers, designers and drafters.

• Ensures that the quality of the work performed by the team is as expected.

• Encourages and supports development of team.

• Accepts ownership and accountability of assigned tasks.

• Works on standardization, product improvement, and development efforts of product line.

What you bring

• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering.

• 10+ years overall experience

• Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, willing to learn, willing to educate, and a general respect for the engineering profession and its ethics.

• Former leadership role and/or leadership experience.

• Hands on experience with Solidworks or other similar 3D modelling software.

• Mechanical design experience is an asset.

• Knowledge of underground mining operations and the mining industry is an asset.
