Senior Product Manager – (Intelligent IT Operations / AIOps)

 

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the AIOps platform, and intelligent IT automation initiatives. This role requires a senior professional with 15+ years of experience and will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation of new features, improving existing features to launch and beyond. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, pre-sales and sales to ensure that our AIOps platform meets the needs of our customers, aligns with our business goals and makes its presence in the market. Similarly lead, guide and develop automation initiatives across the organization on various technology domain.

Additionally, your responsibilities will also include ensuring effective communication both oral and written which should be clear and precise, have proven leadership skills in your role as a product manager, effective persuasion skills, can effectively prioritize tasks to meet product goals while being flexible when required.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Platform Growth

• Own the overall vision, roadmap, and backlog for the AIOps Platform.
• Drive the growth and adoption of AIOps across projects and customers.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the platform by adding new capabilities, integrations, and automation use cases.
• Align product strategy with organizational goals and the future direction of AI-powered IT Operations (AIOps).

Domain & Functional Leadership

• Lead a platform that: 
  • Receives events and metrics from multiple monitoring tools (application, infrastructure, database, network, cloud, etc.).
  • Performs event deduplication, correlation, and noise reduction.
  • Creates alerts and situations for actionable incidents.
  • Integrates with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for automated ticket creation.
  • Triggers automation workflows (e.g., StackStorm) for auto-remediation and self-healing.
• Ensure seamless integration and reliability across all connected systems.

Integrations & Ecosystem Management

• Own and expand integrations with: 
  • Monitoring / Observability platform (on-prem, or SaaS based).
  • ITSM platforms (ServiceNow and similar tools).
  • Automation and orchestration tools (StackStorm, Resolve.in, or similar).
• Work closely with architecture and engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready integrations.

• Direct ownership of enterprise‑scale AIOps and automation strategy.

AI & Industry Trends

• Keep the platform aligned with global market trends in AIOps and observability by performing and presenting required analysis
• Incorporate AI/ML-driven capabilities such as: 
  • Intelligent event correlation
  • Root cause analysis
  • Predictive alerts
  • Autonomous remediation
• Analyze competitor products (e.g. DRYiCE, BigPanda, Moogsoft, ServiceNow Event Management, etc.) and recommend improvements to stay competitive.

Stakeholder & Requirement Management

• Lead requirement gathering with IT operations teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and customers.
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Act as the primary point of contact between business, engineering, QA, automation, and leadership teams.
• Manage priorities and expectations across multiple stakeholders.

People & Delivery Management

• Provide functional guidance to product analysts and support team members.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and releases.
• Ensure timely delivery while balancing innovation, platform stability, and technical improvements.

 

 

Qualifications

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall IT experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Leadership role.
• Strong understanding of: 
  • IT Operations and Incident Management
  • Monitoring/observability tools and event management platforms
  • ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy etc)
  • Automation and orchestration tools (StackStorm or similar)
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or AIOps initiatives.
• Experience with AIOps / Observability platforms (internal or commercial).
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments.
• Infrastructure automation expertise.
• Familiarity with DevOps and SRE practices.
• Agile / SAFe experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
