Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and technically proficient Project Engineer – Structural with experience in Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination. The candidate will play a key role in managing and delivering structural engineering projects by overseeing modeling, detailing, and multidisciplinary coordination, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables across all project phases.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate structural modeling and detailing activities using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, and clients to ensure full model coordination within a BIM workflow.
- Review and interpret structural design drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Lead a team of technicians/modelers to develop GA, fabrication, and reinforcement drawings.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, deliverables, and model progress.
- Conduct clash detection and participate in BIM coordination meetings.
- Ensure model accuracy, compliance with standards, and proper documentation.
- Communicate with fabricators, contractors, and consultants regarding constructability and design issues.
- Support tendering and estimation teams with accurate quantity take-offs and material reports.
- Maintain quality control and adherence to project milestones and budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in structural modeling and detailing.
Proficient in Tekla Structures; working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks is an advantage. - Strong understanding of structural design principles, steel/precast/reinforced concrete construction, and fabrication workflows.
- Experience working within BIM Level 2 or similar project environments.
- Familiar with international standards (e.g., AISC, BS, Eurocode).
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and lead junior team members.
Preferred:
- Experience in steel or precast manufacturing workflows.
- BIM certification or training is a plus.
- Familiarity with 4D/5D BIM applications and digital construction tools.
