Main Accountabilities:
Lead Engineering authority for projects/tenders with low to high complexity for Substations & EBOP Engg. Complete assignments on small, Medium and large projects cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards. Having eBoP exposure with Systems Engg knowledge is an added advantage for this role.
Coordinate with Project/Tendering team (i.e., System Engineering, Primary & Secondary Engineering), Project Managers, SCM, Civil / steel design functions, MEP, Commissioning, Consultants, End customers etc.
Activities Involved:
- Driving the technical solution in coordination with other departments (i.e. System Engineering, Primary/Mechanical Engineering, Secondary/Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering) and support Tender Manager/ Project Manager for assigned Power Systems’ Projects/Tenders.
- Understanding the Systems Engg & should be able to do complete review on Equipment Sizing
- Evaluating risks and opportunities, strategizes mitigation of engineering disciplines.
- Interacting with customers, contractors, suppliers. Attends project/Tender meetings and presents all technical aspects of project/Tender assignments
- Collaborating and networking with engineering colleagues within the organization. Shares best practice across different projects and disciplines
- Evaluating the overall cost of the engineering disciplines and getting approved from Business Unit Head
- Utilizing standard processes, tools, and techniques. Ensuring that engineering activities are complied with required safety regulations and contractual requirements
