Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement project quality strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and oversee Quality Management Systems (QMS) across multiple projects.
  • Lead QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Serve as the primary quality representative for senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance Management

  • Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQPs), procedures, and quality control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, quality management frameworks, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality audits, surveillance inspections, and compliance assessments.
  • Lead quality reviews throughout project phases including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Quality Control & Inspection Oversight

  • Oversee inspection and testing programs to ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards.
  • Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
  • Monitor and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions.
  • Ensure timely closure of quality issues and implementation of lessons learned.

Contract & Client Quality Management

  • Manage client quality requirements and ensure project compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Participate in contract reviews and provide quality-related recommendations.
  • Lead client audits, third-party inspections, and regulatory assessments.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify and assess quality-related risks across projects.
  • Develop mitigation plans and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company quality procedures.
  • Support governance and regulatory reporting requirements.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop QA/QC Managers, Engineers, Inspectors, and Quality Professionals.
  • Establish training programs to enhance quality awareness and technical competence.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and quality excellence.
  • Conduct performance reviews and succession planning for QA/QC teams.

Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring

  • Develop quality KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
  • Analyze quality trends, root causes, and performance data to drive improvements.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and best-practice implementation across projects.
  • Promote Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies where applicable.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Project Management.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial QA/QC role managing large-scale projects.
  • Experience working on major construction, infrastructure, industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or data center projects.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage.
