Job Overview:
We are looking for a Project Delivery Manager in Chennai to lead our engineering team (Python + React developers) working on AI-driven applications. You will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery timelines are met, features are shipped with quality, and cross-functional collaboration runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Own project planning, sprint management, and delivery timelines.
- Translate product requirements into clear tasks, milestones, and roadmaps.
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and ensure Agile discipline.
- Track progress using Jira/Asana/Trello (Agile tools).
- Coordinate between backend (Python) and frontend (React) teams.
- Proactively identify risks, unblock engineers, and escalate issues.
- Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance practices.
- Report weekly progress, velocity, and delivery status to leadership.
- Mentor and guide engineers in work prioritization and execution discipline.
Requirements
- 8 – 12 years of experience in project management for software engineering teams.
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies (Scrum Master certification is a plus).
- Experience managing backend + frontend teams in enterprise SaaS or AI-driven products.
- Proficient with Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and drive accountability in the team.
- Prior experience in AI, SaaS, or developer tools projects.
- Exposure to Python/React tech stacks (not coding, but understanding workflows).
- PMP or CSM certification.
