Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and closing of various projects within FLSmidth Private Limited. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting client expectations and company standards.
Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.

  • Manage project teams, including internal staff and external contractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing clear and concise project updates, reports, and presentations.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.

  • Ensure adherence to FLSmidth's project management methodologies, quality standards, and safety regulations.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.

  • Manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, preferably within the heavy machinery, mining, or industrial sectors.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 certification is a plus).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
