The opportunity: 

Follow clearly prescribed procedures to provide general assistance to project management staff involved in a variety of project management and related functions. Under specific direction, provide support for such activities as development of proposals and presentations.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Preparation of goods receipts in SAP and Baseware workflow.

• Assist multiple Project Managers in day-to-day administration of various projects. 

• Activities include but are not limited to invoicing; shipping; generating transmittals; producing purchase requisitions/orders; filing (some electronically).

• Function well in a matrixed team setting, and be well organized to accommodate requests/actions from a broad number of stake holders.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Bachelor's degree with knowledge in accounting. Professional courses on SAP, MS office, Power BI.

• 1-3 years in similar support roles. Experience in compiling concise and professional written communications that clearly prioritize and deliver the necessary message.

• Knowledge of SAP, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI and Excel (calculation, graphing, etc.).

• Individual contributor using in-depth knowledge in a specific area to execute complex or specialized projects or challenges often thinking independently to challenge traditional solutions.

• Comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines in the organization. Works independently, applying established standards.

• Must be self-motivated and contribute new ideas in which job functions can be more efficient and effective.

• Ability to successfully interface with customers, suppliers, and Hitachi Energy internal personnel (some international) to resolve project issues of equipment delivery and invoicing.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
