Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Sr Associate QA Automation professional to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in developing and executing automated testing strategies to ensure the highest quality standards for our technological products and solutions. The Sr Associate QA Automation will contribute significantly to our business objectives by enhancing product reliability and performance through comprehensive testing processes.
Software Requirements
Required Software Skills:
- Selenium: Proficient in automated testing frameworks.
- TestNG and Maven: Experience in building and managing test projects.
- Jenkins: Strong understanding of CI/CD processes.
- JIRA: Experience in issue tracking and project management.
- Agile Methodologies: Proficient in agile practices and principles.
Preferred Software Skills:
- Experience with test data management tools.
- Familiarity with Rally for continuous integration and testing capabilities.
Overall Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and execution artifacts with internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish a deep understanding of products and technology assets to ensure optimal test coverage.
- Create, review, and implement test cases across different QA levels, including Systems Integration, Partner Integration, Regression, and Performance.
- Analyze requirements specifications for potential defects and ensure performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Monitor defect resolution, coordinating with engineers to prevent, report, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with engineers to enhance code quality through automated testing and contribute to improving observability.
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
- Required: Java (for writing automated test cases).
- Preferred: Experience with other scripting languages for test automation.
Databases/Data Management:
- Essential: Experience in database testing and analysis.
Frameworks and Libraries:
- Essential: Selenium, TestNG, Maven.
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Required: Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
- Preferred: Experience with version control systems like GIT.
Security Protocols:
- Essential: Understanding of application security testing principles.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology with a focus on QA automation.
- Demonstrated experience in writing automated test cases and managing defects.
- Prior experience with Selenium and Java is essential.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Write, maintain, and execute automated test cases to ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts efficiently.
- Review and provide feedback on test cases.
- Actively participate in agile sprint planning and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
