Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a QA Automation Playwright professional with experience to design, implement, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks. This role collaborates with QA and development teams to drive high-quality software delivery, develop end-to-end test scenarios, and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will help reduce defects, accelerate release cycles, and contribute to process improvements across projects.
Software Requirements
Required
Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience with Playwright automation tool
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, TestRail
Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Knowledge of Linux commands; shell scripting is a plus
Familiarity with Docker and containerized testing environments (optional)
Overall Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks using Playwright and other tools
Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand testing requirements
Develop test cases and automate end-to-end test scenarios
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify regressions and defects
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and scripts
Track, report, and verify bug fixes and improvements
Ensure comprehensive documentation of testing processes and test cases

Qualifications

Equivalency: Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal degrees
