Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in Salesforce testing and automation using Playwright. As part of a dynamic QA team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality software through the development and execution of automated test cases across web and Salesforce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient automated test scripts using Playwright.
Perform end-to-end functional and regression testing of Salesforce applications, including Lightning components and integrations.
Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects; assist developers in root cause analysis.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
Ensure test automation frameworks are scalable, reusable, and aligned with industry standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
4 to 9 years of professional experience in QA and Test Automation.
Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for web automation (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred).
In-depth experience testing Salesforce CRM applications, with knowledge of Lightning UI, Visualforce pages, Apex triggers/classes, and standard/custom workflows.
Sound understanding of test case design, test execution, and bug reporting.
Familiarity with source control and CI tools (e.g., Git, GitLab, Jenkins).
Experience in working within Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Good to Have:
Knowledge of other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
