Description:
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in Cypress automation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of overall QA experience, with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cypress automation. Proficiency in JavaScript and Java is required, and familiarity with Selenium is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Cypress, ensuring the robustness, performance, and reliability of our software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of comprehensive test strategies.
- Utilize your expertise in JavaScript and Java to create efficient and effective automated test scripts.
- Demonstrate proficiency in API testing and automate API tests using Cypress.
- Lead the QA team by establishing best practices, guidelines, and standards for QA processes and automation efforts.
- Effectively use JIRA to track and manage testing tasks, defects, and project progress.
- Perform manual testing as needed, contributing to the overall quality of the software.
- Champion the use of Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD) and ensure its integration into the testing process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional QA experience, with a focus on test automation.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Java, with the ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress automation is essential, and familiarity with Selenium is a plus.
- Solid understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with API testing and automation using Cypress.
- Proficiency in using JIRA for test case management and defect tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a QA team.
- Familiarity with Cucumber and behavior-driven development (BDD) concepts.
