This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you’ll do:

• Debugs product and test issues.
• Collaborates and communicates with partner development team contacts in test development, status, and product defect resolution.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to junior test engineers.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent such as B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA
• Typically 3+ years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

Must Have Skills

• Strong Background in Test Processes and Concepts
• Expertise in testing enterprise products
• Expertise in Unix/Linux Kernel environments
• Test Plan creation, Test Execution and Test automation
• C Programming and Shell Scripting
• Basic Understanding of Storage, Networking and Enterprise class Server hardware.

Nice to Have Skills

• Understanding of Storage / High Availability / Disaster Recovery / File System concepts
• Automation Framework Development
• Debugging Skills such as Crash Dump Analysis
• Storage Concepts Understanding / Expertise (RAID, SAN, NAS, etc.)\
• Good to have Python Knowledge.
• Good to have Virtualization knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Should be a team player
• Willing to learn (very high learnability)
