Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated experienced QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team and support comprehensive testing efforts. In this role, you will execute QA processes, including checklist validation, test case execution, and learning automation techniques. The ideal candidate will demonstrate eagerness to understand our product deeply and contribute to identifying testing gaps through systematic testing approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and follow established QA checklists to ensure comprehensive product validation
- Learn and implement test automation to support regression testing efforts
- Perform integration testing to validate system component interactions and identify potential issues
- Conduct black box testing to verify software functionality from user perspective
- Develop product knowledge to contribute meaningful test case suggestions and identify testing gaps
- Document and report defects clearly with detailed reproduction steps and impact analysis
- Support senior QA engineers in test plan development and automation framework maintenance
- Participate in code reviews and testing process improvements under mentorship
- Learn and apply testing best practices while contributing to team knowledge sharing
- Assist in maintaining testing documentation and knowledge base for team reference
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in software testing with exposure to both manual and automated testing concepts
- Basic understanding of test automation tools and willingness to learn advanced frameworks
- Fundamental programming knowledge in at least one language (Python, Java, JavaScript preferred)
- Understanding of integration testing principles and black box testing methodologies
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and basic CI/CD concepts
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to test execution
Recommended Skills:
- Exposure to testing tools and Python automation
- Basic knowledge of Agile development processes
- Understanding of web technologies and mobile application testing
