Job Description

We want you to:

  • Drive, strategise, plan and implement Test Engineering frameworks for a wide-variety of highly-complex world-class software applications

  • Conduct tests and demos and inspect to certify product readiness for quality gates

  • Perform manual exploratory testing of new features and pre-release regression testing with a constant eye towards automation

  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts

  • Identify, socialize and execute QA strategies and best practices with regard to prioritization, defect life cycle, and influence process standardization and hardening

  • Collaborate with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.

  • Work closely with the entire software development team to ensure full knowledge of the proposed software design and that testing covers all aspects of intended functionality

  • Develop, write and manage the execution of an overall software test strategy.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of validation procedures, test plans, and test cases

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant Engineering Degree

  • 4 or more years experience of software testing/software development experience

  • Thorough understanding of Javascript, Unix, C++ and other coding languages

  • Deep experience with performance testing, including scalability, capacity and load

  • Must demonstrate strong time management skills, ability to multi-task & handle multiple test assignments & prioritize one's own work
