Role: Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst role to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with expertise in Selenium Webdriver with Java. The role involves ensuring high-quality software delivery through meticulous test planning, test case design, and automation. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the development team to identify testing needs and improve testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Proficient in creating, executing, and managing test cases and test scenarios.
- Proficient in managing defect life cycle.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit) and script development.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript) and ability to write reusable test scripts.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
- Knowledge with continuous integration tools (e.g., AWS Device farm, Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and potential issues proactively.
- Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman).
- Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Knowledge on accessibility testing.
Essential experience
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet all the criteria listed below
- A minimum of 5 years of software industry experience.
- Hands-on experience testing through the development cycle.
- Experience conducting root-cause analysis
- Experience in bug / defect log maintenance
- Testing process knowledge and ability to communicate with the development team to provide constructive feedback and improvement tips.
- Previous web application testing experience knowledge.
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience on Selenium Webdriver with Java.
- Solid knowledge on tools like, Jira, Confluence
- Cross browser and multi device testing experience

- Graduate / post-graduate in computer science / technology or equivalent degree/experience
- Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal in English
- A minimum of 5 years of Software industry experience along with the strong knowledge and experience on testing on Ecommerce / Web application platforms.
- Experience on automation using Selenium Webdriver using Java.
- Ability to work individually or within a team environment
- Willing to work in UK / US shift on need basis
- Ability to participate in multiple projects / tasks and priorities in a healthy work environment
- Uses a constructive approach when providing feedback
- Ability to take direction, constructive criticism and work to specified deadlines.
- Adhere to process and procedures defined for the role, the team and the organization.
- Certified on one or more of the core process areas of work.

- Locally reporting to QA team lead and IT manager in India
- Matrix reporting to WTL in US
