We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) with strong JavaScript automation skills, hands-on experience in Playwright, and familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
The current automation framework uses CodeceptJS, WebdriverIO, and Allure, with a transition underway to Playwright to align with other teams. While prior experience in a specific framework isn’t mandatory, strong JavaScript-based automation expertise is key.
You’ll help re-establish and scale the existing automation suite, collaborate closely with manual QAs and developers, and encourage best practices that enable engineers to take greater ownership of quality.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Build and maintain JavaScript-based automation using Playwright (and other frameworks where applicable).
- Collaborate with developers and manual QAs to stabilize and optimize the existing test automation suite.
- Ensure test coverage across SFCC storefronts, integrations, and services.
- Drive a shift-left testing culture, embedding testing early in the delivery cycle.
- Support CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, Allure reporting, and BrowserStack.
- Encourage and mentor engineers on automation best practices and quality ownership.
- Contribute to defining and tracking quality metrics and supporting data-driven improvements.
- Strong experience in JavaScript automation.
- Hands-on experience or solid understanding of Playwright.
- Familiarity with SFCC (SFRA) or eCommerce-based testing.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools, Git-based workflows, and cloud-hosted test environments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with developers and QA teams.
- Exposure to CodeceptJS, WebdriverIO, or Allure reporting.
- Experience in BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin).
- Prior experience leading or mentoring in QA practices.
