We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and JavaScript-based test automation. The role involves designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks for modern web applications, ensuring high quality, reliability, and scalability across releases.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable automation code using JavaScript
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC
- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyse test failures, identify root causes, and drive quality improvements
- Ensure best practices in automation, test coverage, and reporting
- Actively contribute to improving QA standards, processes, and tooling
- 7–12 years of experience in Test Automation / Quality Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Excellent proficiency in JavaScript
- Experience in UI and API test automation
- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, test design patterns, and reporting
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced experience with JavaScript-based automation frameworks
- Exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) will be an added advantage
- Exposure to cloud-based applications
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Knowledge of performance or security testing
- Base location: Chennai
- Candidates should be willing to work from the Chennai location as per business requirements
