Primary Responsibilities:
- Leverage AI-assisted tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude and Test.ai) to accelerate test case creation, improve coverage, and reduce manual effort across functional and regression testing
- Build and enhance intelligent, self-healing automation frameworks to minimize script maintenance and improve stability in dynamic UI and API environments
- Applies prompt engineering to accelerate and optimize daily work items
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI-enabled testing capabilities
- Perform hands-on manual testing, including system, integration, and regression testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium / Playwright with Java and Cucumber (BDD)
- Execute automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins
- Work in an Agile environment with tools such as Rally, ensuring test cases, test execution, and defect tracking are maintained accurately
- Participate in requirement gathering and clarification sessions with business stakeholders to understand upcoming system changes
- Collaborate closely with development teams for defect triage, walkthroughs, and smooth handovers
- Conduct UAT handover sessions with business teams to ensure system changes are transitioned effectively after QA sign-off
- Track, document, and communicate quality metrics, and present them as part of Go / No-Go decisions
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members on testing best practices, tools, and frameworks
- Continuously adapt to new methodologies, platforms, and frameworks to support evolving business needs
- Contribute to test strategy, risk assessment, and overall quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong balance of manual and automation testing
- Solid test scripting experience using Selenium / Playwright with Java and Cucumber
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Rally or Jira
- Experience in API testing using Postman/insomnia
- Experience in API automation using Rest Assured
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins
- Familiarity with using AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for test case creation, test design, and automation acceleration
- Proven expertise in test suite and test case design
