Job Description

The role

The Risk Intelligence Center (RIC) is a forward-looking analytical capability within Enterprise Resilience. It converts fragmented technical, operational, geopolitical, and external signals into a single, coherent operating picture that enables faster, better-informed decisions before, during, and after major disruptions. The RIC is deliberately more than a monitoring or watch function; its product is finished, decision-supporting intelligence and anticipatory risk insight.

The Risk Intelligence Leader serves as the RIC’s lead analyst and intelligence integrator. This role drives both proactive horizon-scanning and real-time incident decision support, synthesizing signals across technology, risk, operations, business lines and the external environment into clear guidance for senior decision-makers. It is a hands-on leadership role: the incumbent personally produces high-quality finished intelligence while setting analytical strategy and standards for a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the RIC’s intelligence lead, integrating and synthesizing data across technology, operational risk, business lines, and external sources into a single forward-looking operating picture.
  • Lead proactive intelligence gathering and continuous situational awareness, identifying emerging operational, geopolitical, security, and concentration risks before they materialize.
  • Produce finished, decision-grade intelligence products (daily watch, emerging risk briefs, scenario and red-cell assessments) for senior and executive audiences.
  • During major incidents, translate technical and external signals into business impact and recommended actions; provide risk-based guidance to lines of business and leadership.
  • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence, geopolitical and security risk, and infrastructure or regional disruption; identify correlated and concentration risks across the enterprise.
  • Bridge silos by coordinating across technology, risk, operations, crisis management, and resilience to align stakeholders on a shared picture.
  • Lead, develop, and set quality standards for a small analytical team; build the RIC’s analytical methods and tradecraft.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Seven or more years of experience in intelligence analysis, operational or security risk, incident management, or a related analytical discipline
  • Demonstrated experience producing analysis, briefings, or risk-based guidance for senior stakeholders

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience within an enterprise incident management, global command center, or situational awareness operations environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in geopolitical, political, and risk forecasting and in threat intelligence monitoring and analysis
  • Experience across business continuity, crisis management and response, and resilience in a complex global organization
  • Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with risk and resilience tooling such as FusionRM, Power BI, and the Microsoft 365 stack
  • Experience integrating internal data with external signals (geopolitical, geospatial, third-party) to surface correlated and concentration risks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to bridge technical, operational, and executive audiences

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
