We are currently seeking a Regional Product Manager to lead our South Products team, drive business growth, and strengthen strategic relationships across our Process Control Instrumentation (PCI) portfolio.

 About the Role

As a Regional Product Manager based in our Chennai Regional office, you will lead a dynamic sales team responsible for promoting and delivering Yokogawa’s Process Control Instrumentation solutions within your defined region. You will develop and execute business plans, drive strategic growth, and ensure that customers receive the highest level of technical and application support. Your ability to motivate, mentor, and empower a high-performing sales team, while maintaining strong client relationships and achieving commercial outcomes, will be central to your success.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor your sales team to achieve business goals and group strategies.
  • Achieve Key Performance metrics of Order Intake, Sales Turnover.
  • Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies to deliver year-on-year growth.
  • Identify, qualify, and close key PCI opportunities across industrial markets.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with existing clients and industry partners.
  • Drive technical excellence and ensure the delivery of high-quality application support to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote new strategic products and cross-business opportunities.
  • Manage, develop, and implement sales plans and budgets within the defined product sales area.

What you’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Process Control, Electrical, Chemical, Electronic, or Systems Engineering — or significant experience in the Industrial Instrumentation market.
  • Proven experience leading and developing sales teams within the industrial automation or process control sectors.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing customer portfolios and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in technical sales, system specification, and solution-based selling.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

1. Achieve regional Target

2. Incremental business through new customers

3. Major account management

4. New application selling

5. Market information feedback to PMK

6. Monitor and achieve payment collection target

7. Monitor the delivery commitment of the customer

8. Ensure that monthly BU reports and Q.A reports are sent to Head Office

9. Co-ordination with Marketing team

10. Co-ordination with OPD group

11. Ensuring Quotation support to Sales members

12. Service co-ordination
