Develops electrical power distribution, lighting, wiring, cable tray, and equipment layouts for manufacturing and capital construction projects using Revit and AutoCAD. Reviews specifications, drawings, estimates, budgets, system models, and as-built documentation. Collaborates with architects, engineers, contractors, owners, and system integrators. Supports multi-discipline design/build projects, project closeout, technical reporting, presentations, and NEC compliance.
Develop electrical designs for manufacturing power distribution and lighting systems.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors on new construction/renovation projects.
• Review electrical design specifications and drawings.
• Designing low & medium-voltage electrical distribution systems. To include MCC's, generators,
transformers, low voltage substations, UPS.
• Review cost estimates and budgets.
• Work on multiple projects.
• Maintain current NEC codes knowledge.
• Read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
4+ years experience in areas such as low and medium voltage power, easy power, load flow
analysis, and electrical engineering drawings in a manufacturing environment.
• Design of Electrical Power layouts, Lighting layouts, wiring diagrams, cable trays and Electrical
location layouts in REVIT.
• Experience with Mechanical, Electrical and Process (MEP) engineers and technicians.
• Experience with multi-discipline large capital projects involving Owners, General Contractors,
Contractors, and System Integrators.
• Good Understanding of Design/Build (Engineering and Construction).
• Familiar with facilities document control systems.
• Experience with electrical as-built drawings that are incorporated into master CAD drawings
• Experience reviewing and updating electrical system models.
• Experience with project closeout: reviewing construction specifications, as-builts, O&M manuals,
and submittals.
• Experience using Revit and AutoCAD software to create design drawings and 3D models.
• Proficient with written and verbal technical communication including generating reports and
conducting group presentations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics
